VIP SPECIALIST AND BESPOKE BEATLES TOURS
DAVID BEDFORD – AUTHOR OF LIDDYPOOL
If you want to go beyond these important Beatles places, then take a VIP tour with David Bedford, the well-known Beatles historian, author and filmmaker, who is also a member of John Lennon’s Original Quarrymen.
THE QUARRYMEN
Take a deep dive into Beatles history on one of David’s unique tours. You can also have the chance to meet with Colin Hanton, original drummer with The Quarrymen on the special Quarrymen tour.
Learn how John Lennon created his skiffle group, The Quarrymen, and listen to the stories from Colin Hanton who played with The Quarrymen from 1956 to 1959, playing with John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison, whist also playing on the first original song recorded by Lennon and McCartney: “In Spite of All The Danger”, recorded in July 1958.

WANT TO DO SOMETHING MORE UNIQUE?
We can also offer a VIP World War 2 tour with David. With Liverpool being the second-most bombed city in Britain during World War 2, discover more about the city that The Beatles were born into.
If you would like to discover what lies beyond Liverpool, then we can take you to North Wales, Chester, the Lake District and Cheshire to discover more about this part of the country. We have also created tours for more than 1 day, so let us know what you would like to do, and we can arrange it for you. All of these are available with one of our Bespoke Tours.
